Alaska Tea Company: The Story, the Wild, and the Inspired Teas

Why “Alaska Tea Company” Exists
Life was going too fast. I needed a catalyst or way to slow myself down and remember to pause and enjoy the simple moments.

Alaska Tea Company was born in cold air and long light - crafted for people who crave a cup that tastes like clean water, open sky, and the stillness you feel when mountains hold the horizon.

I offer teas that are inspired by Juneau, Alaska and designed to bring you back to yourself and your being - one quiet sip at a time.

A Place That Brews You Back to Yourself
I always find that Alaska is a study in contrast: winter auroras and summer midnight sun, the hush of snowfall and the roar of a tidewater glacier. Those moments shape the flavors of our tea - calming when life moves too fast, bright when the day needs lift, grounding when you want to feel steady again.

One thing I love about Alaska is the seasonal shifts that remind us to be more aware and present in our everyday lives. The teas we share speak to us throughout the year - from the renewed energy of Spring, to the easy days of Summer, to the Autumn days that require grounding or the warmth required to make it through the Winter time. Each of our teas have a purpose for us - and we hope you enjoy as well.

Sourcing Philosophy: Clean, Intentional, Alaska-Inspired
We source intentionally for flavor, purity, and ritual. Many blends feature Alaska flavor profiles that echo the landscape - blueberry, crisp mint, wildflower warmth, serene chamomile. Every batch is blended in small runs for freshness, with clear labeling for caffeine level and steep time.

If you ever have any questions about how to brew, visit our FAQ page or drop us a note. We love hearing from you!

Signature Blends and the Stories Behind Them

  • Mint Glacier Medley (Sencha Green) — Cool, crisp, and refreshing, like a walk by the Mendenhall on a bright day. Great midday focus. For me personally, I love this tea during early afternoons when I’m settling into the second half of the day. The green tea gives a little kick of caffeine and the mint is incredibly refreshing. Consider selecting this tea if you are looking for a wave of freshness.

  • Alaska’s Wildflower Tundra (Ceylon Black) — Smooth breakfast energy with subtle floral lift—your cozy cabin cup. I love our Wildflower Tundra during the mornings when the weather is a little cooler out. It has a warming flavor that sticks with you - and the aroma lingers perfectly for a morning tea.

  • Alaska Serenity Herbal — Chamomile-forward calm; evening wind-down and journal companion. This one is my favorite grounding tea. I always drink this one in the evening, especially after dinner. It is incredibly calming. I personally love the scent of Chamomile and associate it with comfort and warmth.

Rituals from the North: How to Drink Alaska Tea
